On the 17th of July , I phoned in requesting to cancell all future debit orders and services from MTN as I do not wish to proceed with a upgrade . After waiting 30 min to be assisted , they confirmed that my contract is canceled and there would be no more debit orders , nothing outstanding . The took all my data and minutes as discussed when cancelling . But then I could not receive ANY calls since then ... Phoned in multiple times (atleast 6 times , holding on for someone to "assist") and every person I spoke to said I'm on contract , even though they took all my data and minutes and sent me confirmation that the contract has been canceled . They finally fixed my number this week , so after almost a month without a proper working phone and taking my data and minutes , confirming the contract is cancelled with a ton of *********** "champions" they debit my account once again this morning ???????????????????????????? I am so ****** tired phoning these *********** people who sounds like they are barely awake to assist. Just one more reason not to do business with MTN ever again .
