*********** and unapologetic after 4 failures

My contract ended on the 27th of November 2015, as required I went into the MTN store that day at bayside in cape town and asked for the contract to be cancelled and the number moved to prepaid, I spoke with Tariq Arend who assured me my request would be sorted.

In the week that followed nothing was done. My wife then fed up, went to canal walk MTN and asked someone there to follow up, who then advised that Tariq had not sent the proper paperwork through and hence nothing had been processed on the account, and was promised a call from Tariq to sort out..nothing happenned. I then went back to bayside MTN in the middle of December 2015 to speak to Tania the manager and sort out. She followed up that afternoon and told me the request had been finalised and everything was sorted.

31 December 2015, MTN deduct from my account for the above contract, I went into bayside MTN AGAIN on 2 January 2016 to see Tania, who now is on leave, I waited 40minutes in line before I was attended to....again promised the money would be refunded beginning of this week...obviously still nothing.

To top it off the arrogant staff at MTN Bayside did not apologise at all when I went in on 2 Jan 2016

Hello BrendanSchultz,

Thank you for your post. . We sincerely apologise for the delayed response and any inconvenience caused as a result of this.

Kindly be advised that the contract 08*****034 was cancelled on the 14-12-2015 and the invoice for December had already generated when the contract was cancelled. To be credited you will need to provide the reference number that shows that the cancellation was requested prior to December, when I check on the system there is no cancellation request that was logged.

Kind Regards
Nompumelelo
