Incompetence

I have been with MTN for +_ 20 years but through Nashua mobile. In all those years I never had any problems but the moment MTN took over disaster strike. Since then my account has been suspended 3 times for no apparent reason. My account was always fully settled through a bank stop order. Now I get sms's telling me to settle my account which I do, they would acknowledge receiving payment and just the next day I would get another sms's demanding payment for the same amount . At this moment my service has been suspended AGAIN although I did talk to a consultant (Nolu) on Friday trying so solve the problem (she assured me that it was) and this morning my service was suspended again.
I have changed my address and my banking details via the MTN office at Riverside Mall Vereeniging.
and when I asked the consultant to check my details it was incorrect! The amount of laughter and noise while speaking to the consultant proofed that these people were not doing their work and are just sitting around waiting for their next pay without doing their work.

Hello Giovanna12,

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for the delayed response and for any inconvenience incurred.

Thank you for your time on line.

We confirmed that the account is on debit order. We do pick up that the debit order returned unpaid and August month and the SMS were sent out to notify you to make the payment. Payment has been received and allocated to the account.

We do apologize about the noise in the back round. We have updated the address details and the bank details has been changed already.

We have set up the usage limit for R200.00 as per request. The debit date is on the 1st of every month.

Have a great weekend.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
