Impossible to upgrade - MTN system issue and nobody willing to resolve.

Hello I have been trying to upgrade a MTN contract for nearly a month now. Actually, did two at the same time - one went through the other one now nearly a month. MTN call centre and retention department unable/unwilling to assist with getting it resolved. When ask to be put through to a manager, they put you through to a non-operational extension.
