Impossible to reach MTN - ******* business practices
I am NOT an MTN client. Imagine my surprise whne I received an SMS from VVN (a debt collector) stating that they updated my credit profile. Note that this is the first I heard of it. I contacted them and they stated that I ow MTN R21,000. I have never done business with MTN and never will as I consider them an inferior service provider.
I tried to contact MTN but there is no way to reach a human without having a valid MTN phone number, which I DO NOT HAVE.
So, now I am sitting with a bad credit record for something I did not do and I have no way of contacting this ******** organisation known as MTN. What must I do now???? I have NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE MISSED ANY PAYMENT FOR ANTHING EVER! Now you come and do this to me? HOW DARE YOU!!!!

In the meantime, VVM, the ********ly minded debt collectors, harasses my wife on a daily basis. Funny thing is that the ***** was committed on my name (as far as I can tell) and we are married out of community of property. It exposed the ******* business practices of MTN and VVM.
To date nobody has sent me details of this issue. I asked for a copy of the signed contract, the proof of residence information and a copy of the ID that was linked to this account. They have thus far not supp**** it. No matter how many times I tell them that I never had an account with MTN they keep sending me a bill without any other details.
