Impossible to cancel contract

I called in to cancel my MTN contract which is meant to end on 11/07/2024. I spoke to Siphokazi Mdudo who insists on ending my contract on 30/07/2027 which means you guys will charge me pro-rata from 12/07/2024 - 30/07/2024. However my contract is meant to end on 11/07/2024.

I then advised that as per your website, I am only meant to give 20 days notice, therefore the latest you can put my cancellation in for is 22/07/2024. The advisor argued with me and kept insisting that the notice period is 30 days. She advised she would be speaking to her manager to change the date, who apparently could not do it in the moment because they were in a meeting.I know has not been done because I have not received an email confirming this. Its been 48 hours, no confirmation of cancellation, no contact from said manager, I guess the meeting has been going on for the past 48 hours.
