Impossible international support

I am currently residing in Namibia and I have two small contracts with MTN of which the one number I would like to cancel the contract and convert to pay as you go but there seems to be no way to do it from Namibia. I have sent two mails without response and have phoned the international number twice and both times holding for more than 15 minutes without anyone picking up.
