Imagine for paying for something and not getting in return

<p>I have been a client for close to a decade if not more with MTN with different numbers and various contracts. After downloading the app on my smartphone, i went through the various offerings on the application. I was given the option to remove a component of my package which I thought would be a good way of reducing costs i.e. not paying for something that i don't use. I removed the SMS component from my package and it was successfull. I expected to have the cost associated with the removal also reflect on my next bill however this was not the case. I received an sms on the 21/07/2016 confirming my monthly allocation which only made reference to data and airtime allocation. The SMS was indeed removed, however I am still being billed for it. After speaking to the supervisor Pilani Ndwandwe, he insisted that the contracts are fixed on the network and the subscribers do not have the power to change this. Currently I am paying for my SMS allocation but do NOT have it. Every SMS i have sent since 21 July, I am billed for. Pilani insists that the system is correct and that I will have my allocation on renewal in the new month. My sms renewal for JULY says otherwise. Why is it that people seem to comment on things without doing the necessary investigation into it.</p>
