Im so tired of service providers in SA

I honestly don't know what to say, I took out a month to month home router this company and the lady who assisted me to get this home wifi, told me I should pay 539 I paid that and got the router, why is Mtn telling I owe them 1300, 752 pro rata what what I dont even understand half of the things the lady mentioned what is this mara
