Im moving to another network
I am very disappointed with the service I received from MTN. On Tuesday my phone was ****** from my bag. I called their prepaid line to block the sim and was told they cant do that. I need to go purchase a sim card and Rica it first before they can block that other sim. I was at work with no ID and Proof of address and couldnt go buy a sim meaning the person who took my phone had access to use my airtym and data. That person even went on my watsapp and was reading my incoming watsapps and message. What if that person committed ***** using my number? The least you could have done was stop activity on the sim while I sort out the proof of residence issue. Will I get all the data he or she used?
My second issue was we app**** for a contract with my sister and we still awaiting feedback. We are given a run around since last week Wednesday. Now I've really lost all hope in this network after years of using it and their expensive rates.

Prepaid department do not block sim cards. Sim swap can be done but no blocking of a sim card. The prepaid department informed you of the correct steps to be taken to prevenent for the person to use the airtime and checking of your information.
Please go the policstation and do a affidavit and assistance with the sim swap. You can request as well for the device to be blacklisted The data or airtime used will not be replaced by MTN.
Your sister need to follow up with the store she requested for the contract.
