Illigal handing over of client

Hi there,<br> <br> I closed my account early this year, they did not want me to close the account without paying everything in full, which I then did. After that no bills received and contract cancelled after I had to go into the store as well.<br> I received a call from Attorney's on Friday, saying I've been handed over and for a unpaid bill of R4000?<br> Now I have to send all proof to show that I paid.<br> Surely there is some rules that you can't hand anyone over if you haven't even tried to make contact with them?<br> If this affects my credit record I will unfortunately have to to legal action against MTN.<br> <br> URGENT Attention MUST BE GIVEN TO THIS!!!<br> <br> Thanks<br> Johanna Campher
