WOW, I AM ASTONISHED AS TO HOW EASY IT IS FOR A PERSON TO DO AN ******* SIM SWAP AND HAVE ACCESS TO INFORMATION THAT THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. AFTER NOTICING THE NUMBER NOT BEING REGISTERED ON THE NETWORK, I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO ADVISED THAT A SIM SWAP WAS DONE VIA SELF SERVICE ON ********** 443. THERE WAS A MESSAGE WHICH NO ONE RESPONDED TO YET THE SIM SWAP WAS CLEARLY SUCCESSFUL. AFTER MY SISTER HAD THIS NUMBER FOR 5 YEARS, I THEN MADE USE OF IT AND IT HAS BEEN ACTIVE SO I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THIS. AFTER CALLING AND HOPING TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER, I AM ADVISED THAT I HAVE FAILED THE RIDICULOUS SECURITY QUESTIONS POSED. I HAVE THE DAMN WELL SIM CARD NUMBER IN MY POSSESSION SO HOW COULD I FAIL THE SECURITY QUESTIONS. I WANT THIS RESOLVED OR ELSE I WILL BE REPORTING MTN TO THE POLICE AND WHOMEVER CONDUCTED THIS ******* SIM SWAP.

On the contract number *** we do not pick up any sim swap done.
Hello Peter will replace any digits with ******
If the sim swap complaint is for a prepaid number the prepaid call center need to be contacted for assistance. If security questions was asked and failed, affidavit and the ID copy is required for the sim swap to be done and pulled through the network.
173 can be contacted and they will assist you with the email address to sent the affidavit and ID copy, 173 is a free service from any MTN prepaid number.
