Ignored by MTN despite them taking my money

I have been pleading with MTN to help me for 6 weeks now. I have called the service centre multiple times, I have contacted them on Twitter, I have gone to the store and still nothing.

My number does not receive any phone calls or texts for the past 6 to 7 weeks. I have tried on numerous attempts from the service provider and I am being sent from pillar to post for 6 weeks now. I am paying a contract on a monthly basis for a phone line I cannot use. To make matters worse, I am told that if I cancel the contract and port to another number, I will have to pay the balance for the remainder of the contract

I am losing business daily because of this.
