I will choose the Coronavirus over MTN anyday!!!

MTN has handed me over to an even more *********** company who supposedly specializes in law. In Feb / March 2019, my company ported my number from MTN to their existing contract with Vodacom. The account with MTN was settled. In February this year I receive an email from their lawyer ,Norton Lambrionas, advising me I have been handed over and I need to pay R19k. I call the lawyers offices and speak to a representative who is completely clueless and advised me that I actually owe R600 and I must call MTN for more details. Surely as the lawyer you should have all the information and proof of why I am handed over? I then contact MTN and of course I cannot get through to them. Eventually after days of trying ,I get through and get transferred to MTN's legal department. I then had the pleasure of speaking to Olga Ntsime ,who should apply for a job in government. Olga advised me that the value I owe is R800 and the R19k is indeed settled. I asked Olga to send me proof of what I owe and proof that they contacted me before handing me over. This conversation took place on the 21st Feb and I sent her an email immediately after the call. To no surprise, I have not heard from Olga or MTN since, even after numerous follow ups to Olga on mail. I have now spoken to 3 people that are giving me 3 different values. Today, after 1 year, I receive a statement from MTN with an outstanding balance of R19k. Immediately after the statement comes through I get an email from the lawyer saying the details have been sent and I need to pay. Firstly, which value would you like me to pay from the 3 *********** people I spoke to? Secondly, MTN and Norton Lambrionas do you think I am some sort of idiot or amateur that I am going to pay for something that I don't owe? MTN when you decide to act in a professional manner and call your customers, now ex customer and I regret not moving sooner, or return calls then I will give you my time. Norton Lambrianos when you start practicing law and understand that without proof or facts there is no case against an individual, maybe you will start winning over more mature customers. I am staying very calm throughout this whole situation but don't for one second think I will not get my lawyers involved. That will definitely be entertaining!!! I work for a multinational company and they are fully aware of this situation. Rest assured that MTN will not be their preferred choice. Fellow readers, you want professionalism, good customer experience and a service provider that values customers, MTN is not the right choice.
