I WANT MY NAME CLEARED URGENTLY REGARDING A ********** ACCOUNT THAT WAS OPENED ON MY NAME

In 2017 a ********** MTN account was opened on my name, i only found out about it when i saw a debit order on my account. When i contacted MTN i was told to send through an Affidavit statinh that i know nothing about the account as well as a copy of my Id. I sent all those docs, even though they refused to send me anything confirming that i had app**** for this ********** account.

Early 2018 from around April, i've been liaising with Alice Van Der Merwe who is apparently "MTN's Complaints Analyst" she was the one who handled this case.

I have proof of our conversations, she kept me updated about the case. On the 6th of June 2018, she sent me an email as well as a screenshot of their system confirming that i've been cleared, the account has been closed and that i dont owe MTN anything.

Last week Monday i was applying for a bond, when my credit score report came back i was utterly shocked when i saw that the MTN account still reflect on my name and to make matters worse i'm 2 months in arrears with the installments when all this while i was told the account had been closed.

If the issue was resolved in June 2018 and yet i'm 2 months in arrears, if that's the case what happened to the other months installments.

I urgently urge you to remove this blood **** account on my name, now my bond application will not be approved because of this nonsense account.
