I want my money's worth!!!
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with MTN Direct and it was delivered to me in December 2015. When I charged it for the first time, it started heating up. I let it charge to 100% capacity, and immediately when I unplugged it, the battery was at 99%. The second time when I charged it, it overheated again. This, to me, was a sign that something was not right. I then tried contacting MTN, and was taken from pillar to post. I was, however told, that since I called MTN within the seven day allowed period for Out-of-box failures, this would be addressed and I needed not to worry. I was informed that the sales person will contact me regarding collecting the device.

A consultant confirmed to me that the phone was an out-of-box failure (after I explained the problem to him) and urged me to take it to the nearest MTN shop.
I went to the nearest MTN shop, and they told me that they are a franchise and cannot help me.
I keep calling MTN and I am always directed to incorrect departments or the consultant is not helpful.
Basically I am paying close to R500 per month for a faulty phone. Please do something about this: give me a working phone!!! I have been waiting for far too long!
