I Want MTN to close the account from the credit bureau URGENTLY

I opened a month to month account with MTN for a router, sometime last year I decided not to pay for 1 month due to network coverage problem, and I did not get any services for that month. That information was updated on my credit report as I have missed a payment. In May 2025 I decided to cancel and closed the account since the network coverage issue was still not resolved and i do not owe MTN anything. Now the account still shows as open on my credit report and that missed payment update from last year is affecting me. I am unable to get any credit from anywhere i appear as a person who abandoned MTN with unsattled debt. I want MTN to update the credit bureau and close that account URGENTLY. When I can they do not help.
