i need help with this please
I was hijacked on Monday night (06/01/2020), they took also my phones. The sad part is I needed to do a SIM SWAP with MTN. But it is not possible since 1 of the guys who hijacked me, is using my MTN number. its been a week making calls 2 MTN i even went there this morning but no help. All they say is, there system allow them only to request a sim swap to my number and if the person using my number reject the request 4 SIM SWAP, There is nothing they can do. And blocking the number is not possible.
I have been using that number since 2005, and the number is linked 2 my email, bank accounts, apps and also is 4 business.

We have a chat with our prepaid department to assist you with the overriding of the sim swap due to the guy hijacking you decline the sim swap.
We do require the following from you.
Affidavit and certified ID copy.
On the affidavit you need to state the reason for the sim swap.
You need to confirm the old cell number ***).
You need to confirm the new cell number and the new sim card number.
Please confirm as well on affidavit that the MTN store did try to assist but due to the ********* decline the sim swap this cannot be done at store.

Once you have this please email this to me for the prepaid department to assist with the sim swap.

But sadly my problems are not over, i yesterday recharged the number with R60.00 airtime. Only to receive an sms saying, Your new XtraTime balance due is R41.00
I called the call centre and asked for a manager to assist me. All he said was why didn't i put a pin number on my sim, for the sim not to be used by *****'s. And again they cant do anything about the XtraTime Balance i have to pay.
