I know I said it was free but it isn't. Fooled you!

MTN offers a free service called Data Sharing. The idea is that if you have two devices with different data bundles and one of the bundles is exhausted you can use excess data from the other bundle instead of having to buy data for the one device and waste data on the other. Brilliant. I have an iPhone and an iPad, each with their own data allocation. I want to share data between them. It turns out that I can't do this without buying a new SIM card. Something that is beyond my intellectual capacity to understand was done wrong when I took delivery of the iPad, and now MTN tells me that it is incapable of linking two MTN SIM cards that belong to the same user. I have to pay for a new SIM card on the iPad if I want to use the free Data Sharing facility. I am in a position where, due to a blunder by MTN, I have to pay up if I want to use a free service that I am entitled to use. There is no other benefit to buying the card apart from correcting a mistake that was made through no fault of my own. This is unfair business practice. Under the circumstances I believe that MTN should offer me a complementary SIM card.
