I HAVE LOST FAITH AND HOPE IN MTN
On the 21st of July I contacted MTN 083135 to ask for an early termination quotation, the call was answered by a lady working from home, she kept me on hold for 20 min without muting my call. I listed to her talk about hair(weaves) with her friend, she was also busy playing with a child. I dropped and called again, I was a advised that the retentions team is not available after 5pm(fair enough) an email will be sent to them to contact me in 24 hours. To my surprise I received an email on the 02nd of August requesting me to verify my details, Which I immediately did. I then got response with the quote on the 07th September. A Big Company like MTN takes 2 months to provide a quotation. I immediately paid the fund as per quotation. I then called MTN 24 hours later to confirm conversation to prepaid, A lady by the name of Busi told me that the quote that I received from Wiedaad Benjamin(Retentions) was incorrect and that she cannot help me. I then asked to speak to a manager, my call was dropped by 3 call center agents. Eventually Wiedaad called me back, she explained that she made a mistake and gave me a quote before billing date, she then advised she will ask a manager to credit the new invoice billed in error. Because I know MTN and that it has disappointed me so many times, I asked her to make sure my debit order runs in full, she said no worries Mam, we will debit in full. ON my debit date, MTN debited about R500 instead of R1700, WHY AM I NOT SUPRISED. I've lost FAITH in you. all I need you to do is to take your money from my account, then credit the invoice billed in error. I have sent 4 emails to Wiedaad , she is NICELY ignoring them. MTN needs to improve on their call quality. if so many agents can drop the call so simple, that means they know they will not be reprimanded for such. Other companies dropping a call on a client is a dismissible offence. MTN needs to pick up their socks. This is embarrassing. SHAME MAN!!!
