I HAVE BEEN CHEATED

I had an MTN contract cellular phone with Autopage. the company lapsed and my contract was handed or transefere to MTN. My contract moved to MTN with a sim card insurance. In July 2016 i upgrated my contract with MTN consultant online. I received my phone and everything was ok.

Late February 2017 my phone was stole inside my car in town. I contacted MTN (808) to block my phone and sim card but i could only block the sim card since i was not having enough info to block the phone, even MTN store could not assist with no valid reason though they all the information of my cellphone on their system.

I then ask them at store to do sim swap. I was told that I do not have an insurance for such service. I asked how come becasue when i was at Autogate i upgraded many times, even changed packages but sim card insurance remained there. Who cancelled it and why? I got no answers...

I was told to call Sales Agents as they are the one who made the changes to solve my problem. I called them and they said there is nothing they can do. I demanded to speak totheir managers but the call kept on cutting untill it reach that person.

Since i was desperate to use the sim card, I paid to do sim swap.

All I want now is MTN to contact me and tell what happened to my sim insurance package and who said it must be cancelled. I feel that i must be refunded the money i paid to get new sim and I demand the insurance back to my contract the way things were previously.
