I HATE MTN!!! WORSE SERVICE PROVDER EVER!

MTN is by far the worst service provider there is!! I have two numbers with them. I wanted to cancel the one number of which the contract ended on 19 January 2023. I sent them a notification of cancellation on 5 December. They responded and said I can only send them the notice after the contract ended. I sent them another notice on 24 January. After giving me the run around from one email address to another, they eventually send me an email to say the contract will be pre-paid as of 23 Feb. When I received the statement for Feb, I see that they are going to do a debit my account for this number still! And not only that, the amount is double of what I usually charged. I send them an email to enquire about this, they said once the contract ends the discounted rates fall away! So, after them telling me I can't cancel my contract before the last day of the contract, they charge me double because now the discounted rates no longer apply! I sent them an email to say that I gave them sufficient notice and they need to send me an updated statement so that I am only charged for the number that is still active. I get no response. Then of course they deduct the amount from my account. So I have the debit order reversed and do a manual payment for the number that is still active, I send them an email to say that I had done this and they need to rectify the account. Get no response. I sent them another email with the proof of payment for the amount I paid and asked for my account to be rectified, I get no response. Today, I try make a call and they tell me my number has been suspended!! When I call, the lady says I must email them! It’s a absolute joke, they are a bunch of *******!
