I got ****med at MTN Karaglen

I went to MTN @ karaglen mall yesterday 16 April 2023 to get an adapter that’s compatible with my phone , did not know which one will be most compatible with my phone so I brought my charging cable with to the store so as to test out the cashier at the store. The sales person by the name Nikita Hariparsad then shows me about 3 that will work I then decide on one an ask her if we could open and test out ,she shows me from the box the the adapter is what I’m looking for and assures me that it will work we don’t need to test and should I have issues I can exchange/ return .

I get home the adapter doesn’t charge my phone , I then go to the store to try and return the next day the the store manager tells me there are no cash refunds, which I did not know of as Nikita didn’t highlight to me cos I would have insisted we test in store and this is on the invoice which Nikita did not give also , when I asked for a receipt or any proof of payment she printed a customer copy from the speed point.

I asked to speak to the Manager or the person in charge at the Store by the name Chrysh who refused to to give me an exchange to something I can I actually use or a cash refund because I tore the box a bit at the top when I opened it even though I asked to test the product instore and was denied the opportunity. When I highlighted this to the boss he said I must take it up with the sales person it’s not his problem.
