Thank you for your post
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.
Kindly note that if the new sim card has been loaded airtime or used to make a call, our systems are not able to process the sim swap.
Buy a new sim card, rica it and not load any airtime. Call the call centre with the new number and we will assist with a sim swap.
Please note that MTN does not charge R50 for a prepaid sim card.
Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
Regards
Lungi
