I am not good enough MTN

I have been a customer of MTN as long as cell phones been in RSA.I have never missed a payment to MTN In the past month I have received numerous phone calls and sms notifications to upgrade Went to MTN store in Centurion Mall and after an hour could not manage to upgrade.My ID as well as my drivers license was copied en verified by another employee.Still I am not able to upgrade??
