I AM NOT A ****

Ever since I had a cellphone, I have been with MTN. My internet provider is also MTN. I have remained loyal despite the decreasing benefits and increasing prices. Last week, I recharged my account and entered their current competition. I was then bombarded with these question-and-answer smses. I played along, until I noticed that my account was now R5 short. I contacted customer "care" and was told I had subscribed to some service and my money would not be returned. I repeatedly explained that I did no such thing, and even asked to speak to a manager to explain the situation. Well, the manager called me that evening (yay!), only to talk down at me (nay!) insisting that I subscribed to this service and there was no way to prove otherwise. So now I was a ****, and R5 short! The more I replayed the conversation in my head, I was shocked by how I was treated. So the next day, I ported to another network. I don't expect special treatment, but I also don't expect to be belittled and painted as dishonest. I guess the customer is always wrong...
