HUGE BILL AFTER ASKED TO LIMIT CONTRACT

Hi,

Last month after I have received a R2000 bill from MTN I went in to Canal Walk MTN to ask if they can update/limit my contact so that I buy airtime and data when I run out of free minutes and data..

I can't remember the sales persons name but I can tell you if I see a picture but we sat and he informed me that he made the update to R1 then I will have to buy airtime/data. He then showed me the screen and it looks like my account was already at R500 for this month only to get a bill this morning of R1400+ again?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME? WHO'S FAULT IS THIS? And I can confirm that the same day the network forced me to buy airtime to use applications on my phone so I would like to know where this ridiculous amount is coming from.

Can someone please contact me ASAP before debit orders gets put into place because then I will be complaining to the NCC, etc.

Thanks,
Denzil Muller
