How to change the number on a contract sim

<p>I signed up for a contract for my wife and forgot to request that it should use her prepaid number, MTN store says that it is impossible to fix this although I've done it once before many years ago.</p> <p> </p> <p>How to I go about this now?</p> <p> </p> <p>Tnx</p>
