How many times must I resolve this?

After spending almost 5 hours on the phone, over 4 different phone calls to your retentions department, I was quoted 4 different settlement amounts for my MTN contract. After finally receiving an amount which was accurate, I paid the amount in full at your N1 City branch. The following day, I received a call from someone in your retentions department to confirm the my contract had been settled and would be closed within 24 hours. I asked that my number be transferred to prepaid - which the consultant confirmed would happen. This all worked fine until the following month, when I received my normal bill. As though my contract was still active. Ive tried on three seperate occasions to contact someone at your retentions department but as I only have one hour of lunch per day, I don't have enough time to spend over an hour on hold, waiting for one of your hopelessly *********** staff members to waste more of my time. I tried to send an email, but the response I received was that I need to place a call with the retentions department.

I don't understand why the onus must be on me to run after you people to resolve YOUR mistake! I'm now being billed for another month, for a contract which I don't have, for data and services I do not receive, while my credit score suffers, because MTN employs staff who are completely *********** and entirely disinterested in anything resembling decent customer service.

My line has been suspended and my credit score is suffering because one of your people messed up! I have clients who can't reach me and flags being raised on my credit score and bills stacking up for a service I no longer have or want and have, in fact, paid for.

This needs to be resolved and I want some sort of compensation now! I've had enough of this **** now!
