How long must one wait for a reactivation?
On Sunday the 1st of February 2015, I went to an MTN store to process a SIM swap and remove the suspension that was placed on the ****** SIM.

I was told the standard TAT, 2 - 24 hours.

By Sunday evening the new SIM card was active, yet the service was not restored.

On Monday morning I called the 808 service number and was told that there is some Network delays and Should try again after a few hours.

On Tuesday morning, I checked again, service still not restored. Once again I checked with 808 and was told the matter is being escalated.

On Wednesday morning once again I called and was told that the matter was being handled by a supervisor and that I should check after 30 minutes.

On the same afternoon I went to MTN store, the same store I was on Sunday, to process another SIM swap as I needed a nano SIM for my replacement phone. The lady who assisted me said there was no suspension on the number.

Sim swap was processed and its active already.

YET THERE IS STILL NO SERVICE ....

Why am I the one doing all the calling and running around?

Not even one phone call from MTN to check if the service has been restored, Shocking service MTN.

SORT THIS ASAP
