How is this SERVICE???
Due to my debit order not going through MTN blocked my phone which I completely understand. Had I known it had not gone through I would of sorted out the issue immediately. Today (07/04/15) I get an sms to say my calls will be blocked due to the outstanding amount. I tried phoning MTN to get through to the accounts department to get their banking details so that I can do an EFT into their account as I stay in a small town not near an ABSA or a MTN store. I phoned countless times to get through, only to be told by the operator they are experiencing high call volumes and I must please be patient. I am fine with that, but what is unacceptable is that after 3 minutes of staying on the line the line gets disconnected!!! This is definitely not my phone fault as it has never disconnected during a call ever. Then when I phone now after I can't get hold of a single operator because they are closed??? I have NEVER had a case when I phone MTN and they are closed. I honestly don't see how you can be getting such high call volumes yet still close shop at (I would like to know when this started happening). I think its time to switch to Vodacom who have staff ready to answer a call.
