How do I get rid of MTN spam!!???
<p>I am a MTN pre-paid customer and constantly receive unsolicited MTN spam that I did not sign up for, do not use and do not want. And its usually not just 1 annoying message that arrives, but several at a time! Even worse, MTN, do not even have the courtesy to offer opt-outs on their constant bombardment of spam!</p> <p>How do I get rid of their endless and annoying unsolicited spam!!?</p>

Thank you for your reply and feedback - much appreciated. Next time I recharge, I shall take of what messages/spam I do or do not receive to see if my number has indeed been removed from your marketing database, as you have promised.
2 points I would like to make though:
1) Please can MTN advise their sales staff in the MTN stores that this spam can be eliminated through a request to Marketing to remove customers numbers from the database, The last time I went to the Cresta-Joburg store, the salesman I spoke to, advised quite flatly, he this could not be done and he could not assist in this matter, which I found to be most unhelpful.
2) If MTN is sincere in its intention of not displeasing customers, why doesn't it either offer customers an opt-out to annoying spam or give the opt-in/opt-out option right at the outset?
It seems sad that in this instance, the MTN stores fail to provide customer service, MTN displeases customers with spam without giving options to opt-out and the only way to get service is to complain on a public forum such as this one.
