How do I cancel my contract

My MTN contract has expired & I wish to convert this to a \pay as you go"service. However the local franchises insist that the only way to do this is by calling 808. <br> Try calling 808 and see what response you get!<br> Apart from a host of pre-recorded messages which don't help"
