how difficult is it to move from contract to pay as you go? Pathetic service

Good day,

re: **********

I have requested several times with mtn since October that at the end of the contract expiry, the account be transferred to a pay as you go account. The call centre agent informed me about the 30 day waiting period, at which I requested if there was a way to get it done immediately since the contract has expired. She said it can be done but that i must note i will forfeit the airtime etc, of which I was happy to lose.

Now three days in a row I phone in and they tell me to wait 24 hours, everyday I am told to wait 24 hours.

reason I am actually not renewing the contract is teh terrible service one gets with MTN. So if I am on pay as you go at least I get to decide what service I want.

The pathetic and sad part is that I was even still willing to be an MTN pasy as you go client, with such service,or lack thereof rather, why would I want to stay with MTN?

How difficult can it be to transfer the contract to pay as you go?

Kind regards
