How can you create a barrier to giving your network more money?

I have an M+ or L+ package and pay R533 a month. Subscription only. I then wanted to updrade my subscription to the entry level Sky package for R999.

After being shunted from 808 to a store to the online store, I came right last week Friday at MTN Mall of Africa. I completed and signed some form and was advised my upgrade will be loaded by this week Tuesday at the latest and I would receive an sms notifying me.

I followed up Tuesday night and was told it had not been processed. Yesterday I called in and they called me back advising that the upgrade was not possible and if I wanted one I need to move to a Standard package. The "standard" sky package is R1999. Are you serious????? So either I pay you R1999 or you will be happy with me only paying R533 all because you wont let me pay R999????? Please explain why this makes sense????

So the form I completed and information given was also untrue.
