HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM COMPANY AND CALL CENTRE AGENTS

Last night(22July) at around 23:00 i called MTN "customer care" and I spoke to some lady, whose name I did not get explaining that I have 117MB of data and i've switched on my data, but as i log on to the internet my phone tells me to switch on the data, and i have restarted my phone over and over again, but it still says the same thing. She then told me that she had sent me internet connection which i will get once i put down the phone. I got the message, installed it but still the problem persisted. The I called MTN and spoke to thee "service champion" Nokwazi, who said to me "Sisi on our system it shows that your data is off, switch it on". I explained that it is on and as I was talking to her. She then asked me "In your understanding when it says switch your data on, where is it to be switched on? On your phone right? Then switch it on. The problem is your phone not us." I explained to her that my sister is experiencing the same problem and we are using different phone models. Guess what she said to me? Then sisi both your phones are DAMAGED. What ****ed me off the most was not what she said, but how she said it. Being a customer service agent myself I doubt if this is how you train your agents to speak to customers. Then stupid me as Nokwazi indirectly said, bought data on my vodacom sim and guess what? MY BROKEN PHONE was working just fine and I was able to access the internet. Then I called MTN and spoke to another lady, even though she failed to HELP me, she was able to ASSIST me and she was showing remorse as she was speaking to me. She said she will restart my network and I must switch it off and take out the sim card and battery out and put it back on after 10min, which I did and the problem still persisted. Then I just had to sleep because MTN had failed me, and the nicest person I had spoken to failed to help me as well. I wasnt willing to speak to another Nokwazi or worse. Since it is said that your calls are recorded, you can just listen to our conversation and hear it yourselves. Today people that using MTN at work were complaining about the same problem too. So my phone is not broken
