Horrible Service. Don't take accountability for their mistakes!!!

In 2021 I asked MTN for a cellphone contract of 2 x A12 Samsung phones. The service provider never delivered what the had promised over our telephone conversation. They delivered the wrong phone, which I returned to the service provider without opening the item. I returned the package as it was along with the SIM card unopened and I informed them within 7 days that I'm canceling the contract because they gave me the wrong item that I did not order.

I wanted two Samsung A12 phones but they delivered 1 x Samsung A1 cellphone.

After returning the phone I cancelled the contract immediately telephonically and via email and they confirmed a cancelation.

Now, they have put adverse information on my credit report for a service which never commenced because they gave me a wrong phone. Now my credit record is a mess for something that is false!!!!

I spent my own money calling and traveling to MTN Menlyn to return a wrong item that was delivered to me. It is against my consumer rights to also now pay for a service I did not receive.

I never opened your phone or used your simcard. I don't owe you and I will fight for this!!!

Don't even think about taking out a contract with them.
