Horrible service
Horrible experience in terms of unlocking a device, not helpful at all. How am I supposed to unlock my device with a SIM card that’s already ported whilst when I bought the phone a few years ago I was informed that the device will only be MTN locked for 12 months? Why was the lock not disabled after 12 months?

18 Sept 2025, 13:38Further to the horrible service, I received further insult via their X direct messaging where I was forwarded a link to unlock my phone but in order for that to happen I have to pay $28,99 equivalent to R502,45 for the phone to be unlocked. What **** are you guys running there at MTN?
