Horrible service!

Where do I start?

07 Decmber 2016:
Let me start by saying I app**** for my very first contract with MTN over the phone for a Hauwei P9 Lite. I spoke to Thembelihle Mchubu.

09 December 2016:
I received my device within 48 hours however the device was faulty within the first 24 hours.
I signed MTN's policy which allowed me to return the handset after 7 days of receiving it.

10 December 2016:
So, I headed over to Claremont which was the closest MTN store I could find. They advised me to speak to the Hauwei employee in the store. The "Hauwei" employee said he could not help as I was one of the first people who has ever complained about the device so hes not sure what to do. he sent me away.

12 December 2016:
I called MTN direct on the number ********** and asked them to pick the device up. They did so within 48 hours.

15 December 2016:
I called MTN direct again a few days after just to check how long it would take since I was still within my 7 days. The lady I spoke to told me it would be ready by next week.

21 December 2016:
I dialed up ********** one more time just to make sure that they had everything in order for delivery, but they didn't. Thembelihle then told me the faulty handset needed to be couriered to the repair place in order for them to confirm that I could receive a new device (This wasn't stated in the return policy).

23 December 2016:
I phoned them AGAIN to ask how much longer it should take because I was going to be on leave within the next week. Thembelihle told me that there was nothing she could do since the repair place was closed for festive season. I feel I shoul've been notified on this matter!

30 December 2016:
After plenty of phone calls and emails I drove from Plumstead to Century City to the service center to ask what more I have to do. They still wanted to charge me on a phone that hasn't even been in my hands! Eugine called Kim Basson over the phone who, might I add, was very rude and put the phone down in my face for the second time. I Insisted that she cancelled the contract immediately and I was told that it could only be cancelled on the 3rd of January 2017. Eugine advised me that I should rather apply for an in-store contract as it would be much less hassle.

3 January 2017:
I entered a MTN store at Cape Town International Airport. I spoke to Dexter who said my contract was still not cancelled however he'd apply me for a new Vet and made me pay R52 to be emailed a bank statement and made me mail a copy of my ID three times!

4 January 2017:
I called ********** (Cape Town International Aiport) MTN store to check up on the NEW contract application. Dexter told me it would take between 2 to 48 hours to be approved and it is still being processed.

5 January 2017:
After my mails and calls were ignored the entire day I called MTN direct, who said my contract application was approved on the system. They advised me to contact the number 808 when I entered the store. I visited the store at about 17:00pm (48 hours after my application) and immediately contacted the number 808. As I was talking to the lady on the phone I was rudely interrupted by Harold who was shouting at me while I was on the call and I could not hear a thing about what the lady was saying. I told him I'm talking to someone and I'm on a call. This gentleman was so rude, he told me to get out of HIS store and stand outside. I told him I was coming in for an enquiry and I'm on the phone with MTN, and all the while there were two customers in the shop and I couldve sworn he swore at me while he mumbled under his breath and the two customers would've been able to back up my statement.

Today I've decided that I'm no longer a MTN customer. I would like for my name to be removed from the MTN website as well as not to be in ownership of ANY MTN contracts. I am done!
