Horrible Horrible Service MTN!!!!!

What a horrible experience that we received from MTN Trade Route mall consultant Brandan. My husband lost his phone on Sunday 22/11/2020 and on Monday I personally went to MTN at The Glen to ask which documents are required to do a sim swap. I was told that its the ID document and the proof of resident that is needed. The reason why I did that my husband didn't really had the time to do that as he is very busy. When we got to the Glen both MTN stores were full eventually we drove to Trade route mall as it is closer to where we stay. When my husband got there the guys were just chilling as if they were not at work. First thing the manner of approach "Horrible and just less interested" when my husband explained that he needed to do a sim swap he was told on the spot that he needed to go and do an affidavit which was something that I was not told about at The Glen. How is it possible that the procedure of doing a sim swap doesn't have the same rule in all the MTN stores? anyway when my husband got to the store it was around 16:30pm. We then had to rush to the police station to do an affidavit when my husband went back it was already 16:45pm as he was clearly told that the store will be closing at 17:00. In the process of the sim swap an affidavit was handed to the sales associate and with the correct cell phone number on it. While he was doing that eventually he punched the 3 middle digits incorrectly e'g my husband cell phone number is *** and the guy registered *** which was incorrect. When we got home my husband tried to sort his Gmail account but the OTP was not coming through. Eventually when he tried to call my cell number that when we realized that the number was captured incorrect. My husband had to drive again to Trade Route this morning to sort this out, taking into consideration that was suppose to report work, when he got there the store was still closed at 9:00 eventually it was opened at 9:05am. while he was waiting outside the staff could see that there was a customer waiting and did not even bother to open for him. When he got in the same guy did not even apologies for what he did he just said "Ooh I didn't see" and that was it. Taking into consideration that someone else's number has been affected as well due to this. This is so unprofessional especially coming from MTN. Clearly even the manager in that store doesn't care because this is something that they are used to....not being helpful and undermining other people.... I don't think that your operations team is aware of this as it is really putting a huge dent on your brand!
