********** Service from MTN!!: Len du Toit
4 July 2019 ****NDOUS SERVICE FROM MTN MTN MTN, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, DISORGANISED, DISINTERSTED IN THE CLIENT, DISHONEST and many more all in the same sentence. That is what MTN stands for. I reported an excessive cell phone account to MTN Customer services in April 2019, and the very friendly operator, NOKULUNGA ZAKWE, said no problem, there is a ********** line registered on my account SINCE December 2018, and after promising to “escalate” (their favourite statement) the problem to the ***** department. I received a reference number and thought, Well done MTN. End of the month the bill was exactly the same. No problem I thought, maybe they are busy with the case. I called, explained the situation to ANDE DUKUSA and was promised the case would be “escalated” higher up to the ***** department. On various occasions thereafter, I also spoke to KARABO, BOISELO,ASANDA and KANISA. Each time getting a reference number with a promise of my complaint being “escalated”. End of the month I received the same high bill, so I called again and requested that something be done. I also requested that my debit order be cancelled and that I receive an account via the post. I was told to send a letter requesting this in which I also said that if this wasn’t resolved immediately I was going to reverse the amount at my bank. When I called to find out what was being done they said “oh we can’t open your letter. I went to Post net, had it scanned and mailed to a Manager, called a “Service Champion”, NHLAHLA ZULU who returned my mail saying he received it and would “escalate” it to the ***** department. Subsequently, as ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done. I have reversed two payments and MTN then IMMEDIATELY responded saying that if I don’t pay everything by the end of the month, they were going to blacklist me and my phone and that I could be prosecuted. Not only did I not pay, I reversed the next triple payment they deducted as well. Again I phoned and spoke to BOISELO, who promised to “Escalate” the problem. At this stage, apart from threats from MTN, NOTHING is being done to resolve my problem. This was my tenth, and last, contract with MTN . I HOPE THEY KEEP THEIR PROMISE, AND TAKE ME TO COURT…SHOULD BE INTERESTING LEN DU TOIT ***
