Home Internet

I took a 10mbps home internet month to month deal with Mtn. When I needed an upgrade I was told I have to cancel the contract and get a new one. The process was very frustrating because I had to go into an mtn store and wait queues. When I took up the contract online and everything sent to me via courier. Why did they not create a return waybill for the cancellation? I went through the process tho.

I had to apply for a new contract for the 20mbps line. The consultant explained that I have to pay a prorata rate of R 538 this included the first months payment. I asked numerous times to ensure that on my debit date which is the 4th they will not deduct. She assured me that this was covered in that upfront payment I made.

Fast forward 16 September(present) my router is disconnected. When I call mtn connectivity to find out what's happening they tell me I owe for this month. A debit order was supposed to go off on the 4th. So I was mislead to think what I paid on 24 August included this months debit amount.

I am sitting without internet in my home as we speak. I have work to complete but I'm behind on that as I do not have the money to pay that. I never budgeted for it because I was told it was included. I am cancelling this stupid network.
