Holding Phone Hostage

I have recently bought a IPhone, and within 3 Months I started having Problems with the Phone.

I have taken it into MTN for repairs but now they state that I have to Pay for this phone to get fixed! This should be under a 1 Year warrentee, and they are syaing that this is only for 1 Month, which to me makes NO SENSE, never have I bought a phone with a warrentee of 1 Month.

Worst of all, my Fiance took in her Samsung with a Broken screen and was repaired under warrentee, and now they wont return my phone in the broken state that it is now, because they say I have to pay for that screen repair.

I have had enough of Call Centre's and they Incompetant staff, and would like this to be sorted out ASAP as this is my phone and the number is Linked to our Gate. So now any Guest cannot enter the gate.

Hopefully this will shed some light on the BAD service some MTN clients are receiving. There is MANY other service providers.

Good Day Gielie

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We appreciate that you have made us aware of the issues that you were faced with regarding the faulty handset. I apologize for any inconveniences caused as a result of this. I understand the frustration that you endured in your attempt to have the issue resolved.

Kindly note that we have tried calling you without any luck. Unfortunately, the IMEI number and Job Card number have been left out of your post which does delay the resolution time. In order for our technical team to investigate and resolve this matter, we do require the IMEI or job card number. Alternatively you may contact the Repair Centre helpdesk on ********** 349 for a full fault report.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Kind Regards,
