Highly disappointed in service

After visiting numerous MTN stores (that all offered terrible service) to do a simple upgrade of a contract, my last resort was to call the MTN upgrades department. I got through to Kgabo. He helped assist with mine and my dads upgrades. I got my phone within a week, and so did my dad. But that is where the good service ended.

My dads brand new iPhone SE gave trouble after using it for 2 days. He took it into his nearest MTN and said they would send it in for assessment and they will call him back with feedback. After 2 weeks, he heard nothing. So I called. They informed me after 2 weeks of having the phone that I need to disable the 'Find my iphone' app. Which I did. I had to then call AGAIN to get feedback. I was then notified that the assessment was done and he qualifies for a new phone. The assessment department said they made a note on the system for someone to call me to order the new phone.

After a couple of days, no phone call. So I had to call AGAIN. I called Kgabo. The amount of excuses made and arrogance on the phone was unacceptable. I was told I would be called back with answers. Did I get a call back? No. I had to call back numerous times to find out what was happening and get answers. After being told that they have no stock of the phone my dad was originally sent, he was told he would have to pay in more every month because he next available iPhone is more expensive than the iPhone SE.

This was a definite no. After my dad calling in and it having to be approved by a supervisor, he eventually got sent his phone. The iPhone SE (but apparently no stock of this phone!)
Now, my question is. This went on for a month and a half. No new phone for my dad to use, but the debit order still went off his account. So he paid for a month and a half for a new phone which he didn't even have!

This is without failing to mention the R200 glass screen protector he had bought for his new phone which got sent in for assessment. So MTN, is he going to be reimbursed for this? Or are we going to have to phone in numerous times again to get something done about this? Because we will not stop here until we have answers.
