Highly disappointed and disgusted with the lack of urgency with my upgrade

<p>On the 1st of August 2017 I app**** for my upgrade with Josè at the Mtn store at Newtown Junction however I was unable to get the device I wanted due to unavailability of stock on the Samsung S8+. Josè promised to source the phone as well as the free Samsung galaxy tab active which is currently on promotion and highly visible on the front page of MTN catalogs for August 2017.</p> <p> </p> <p>I followed up with the store the next day and I was informed that Josè no longer works for the store from that day and he hasn't infoŕmed any of the staff about the upgrade or whether or not he actually made enquiries to get me my upgrade. </p> <p> </p> <p>The manager of the store ,Lerato, got hold of her supervisor, Suvan Maharaj who promised to source the phones for me. A day later I had to follow up with Suvan on numerous occasions after failing to return my calls as promised. </p> <p> </p> <p>I kept getting told that Samsung and the courier company is having an issue with delivery of the promo tabs which is advertised however mtn refused to get hold of the courier company and Samsung to find out if and when will they receive stock. </p> <p> </p> <p>After numerous promises from Suvan telling me that he'll have my phones ready by Monday 7th August 2017 I was again told that the problem lies with Samsung and the courier. Again Suvan Maharaj promised that he'll make a plan and get back to me which didn't happen. When I contacted him the next day he basically forced me to take a Huawei Mate 9 which I am not happy with. </p> <p> </p> <p>The worst part of it is that there was a lady from Samsung in store putting up more advertising for the S8plus promotion with the free Samsung galaxy tab active. To me it was extremely strange that they creating more awareness around the promotion even though Suvan clearly stated that it won't be available for the entire month. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am a paying contract customer of over 10 years with MTN and I own four contracts with MTN. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am not happy with the deal I got and I'll be taking away my business from mtn if they unable to resolve this issue and replace this Huawei Mate 9 with the contract that I want. </p>
