Hidden terms and conditions not mentioned...

I used points to buy airtime that I wanted to send to a family member. They then proceeded to tell me that that airtime (actual money airtime) can only be used for phonecalls, and those phone calls only to MTN, and they cannot be shared.

How can they tell you what the airtime you "purchased" can and can't be used for. Surely this is a massive breach of consumer protection act when it comes to vouchers, etc.

I am highly annoyed and frankly am going to see how I can take this further. This is not the first time MTN has done some dubious business...
