Hellish experience trying to cancel MTN Contract

If you think you can just cancel your MTN contract at the end of the contract period, well think again.

I have been for the past 2 weeks now trying to cancel my contract with MTN with no luck, I first called the cancellation number and after holding for over 40 minutes the call dropped, tried again the same thing happened and the call dropped after just over 30 minutes,

It's been two weeks and I have every day now tried to call them even tried doing so at different hours of the day and the result is always the same on hold for over 30 minutes and then the call drops.

Last week I took time off work to go to a MTN store thinking they could help me there and they told me that cancellation are not done in store anymore I have to call the number so I did just that in front of them and what do you know the call dropped after 36 minutes.

Its a pity that I have to jump through hoops to do the simplest of task.

I wish I could give negative stars to MTN
