Harassed by MTN Lawyers long after making the payment

<p>I logged a complaint with MTN that there was an ******* extention to my contract. But because I did not have the energy nor desire to engage/ fight MTN I decided to make the payment and part ways with them.</p> <p>I made the payment with VVM attorneys who sent me the statement, I then forwared the proof of payment to VVM Attorneys who informed me that the account was duly closed. It has been two months now that I have been begging them for my paid up letter and they could not careless.</p> <p>To my surpsire, a month after settling the account I started getting SMSs from Shapiro Shaik Defries (SSDA) claiming to represent MTN demanding that I must settle the same account.</p> <p>I informed SSDA that the account was already settled with VVM Attorneys who represent MTN. these lawyers did not wanna hear anything. they litterally send me threatening SMSs on a dailly basis demanding that I make a payment. I have tried forwading them the proof of payment but the they just wont relent.</p> <p> </p> <p>My anger at MTN is that, how can they mandate two law firms to deal with my accout when the account is settled they dont bother to inform all their lawyers. now i am being harrased and when I try to contact MTN no one knows how to help me. </p> <p> </p> <p>MTN is the worst company in my books and I will never buy anything from them. I am depressed as i write this becasue even their call centre is so uselless they can't even help. I continue being harrased my SSDA for an account already settled</p> <p> </p>
