Handover and listed at credit bureau with little communication

I am writing this on behalf of my husband. A cellphone contract that he had taken out for our daughter was higher than usual by almost R2000 (data usage). He had gone in on several occasions to query this and despite the store logging a several enquiries, the ticket was always just closed with no explanation. This going on for several months, my husband refused to pay the excessive account. The account was obviously handed over for collection, however he does not know who the attorneys / collection agency is that account has been handed over to. On one credit report that he obtained there is no detail of the attorneys. It just says handed over. He wants to make arrangements to pay this account off but has no idea how to get hold of the collection company. He has gone in store to get the information, they are unable to assist. I also sent MTN an email regarding this information. Someone phones him about when he is going to make payment but he has requested them to email but nothing has been forthcoming. It has been a nightmare dealing with MTN. You cannot reach anyone in higher positions. Going in the store has proven useless. Logging a complaint or query does not get resolved. We have wasted several hours going in and out of MTN stores to sort things. We just want to know who is the collection agency and it would be lovely if the MTN Legal Department could just communicate this with us.

Still no reply... This is the frustration one deals with. The amount of negative reviews on MTN is an EMBARRASSMENT. I have emailed their legal department and still no feedback.
