HANDED OVER WHILE THE ACCOUNT IS PAID

my name is violet, I would like to query this number ***. I was owning three months and I paid my contract, I went to the branch to get new sim card as I lost the one I had, was told my account is with Legal, please advise how and please resolve the matter I tried to call Verocred with no luck, I went to the branch they said my account is in good standing but they cant assist as it's handed over, how does it get handed over while I paid and even got the statement from MTN, please assist I don't have any MTN number as the sim card lost was for my laptop. I tried calling verified they said they are not aware so please MTN
